ABSTRACT
 Background: Mandibular fractures comprise a large portion of facial injuries. According to comprehensive series published, 17.5 - 52% mandibular are condyle fractures. With the development plate and screw systems, open reduction internal rigid fixation have also become methods that accepted. Titanium miniplate systems or resorbable used for this purpose. The purpose study is compare superiorities titanium on an orthotropic model using finite element analysis (FEA) method.
 Method: analysis, stress values in bone, plate, callus amount displacement plates fragments with Von Mises forces were examined.
 Result: It was observed solitary do not generate adequate stability.
 Conclusion: mechanically superior treatment However, fully support opinion, studies different designs new required.
